West of Struga, Radožda is known as a fishing village and for the medieval cave church of St Archangel Michael. Kališta is associated with its monastery complex and the cave church of the Nativity of the Virgin.

Other villages spread from the lakeshore across the Struga plain and toward Mount Jablanica. Travel respectfully: sacred sites may have dress or photography rules, village roads can be narrow, and opening times should be checked before departure.
